The 21st Century Renaissance Man
It is said that the 14th century renaissance man, could have at that time, known everything that there was to know regarding all the knowledge in the world. This was only possible of course because there was not so much knowledge to be had. The printed book had been in use for 600 years in China, but now it was available in Europe, and the scholar could now read what few books of ancient learning that where available to him.
Well now with the growing use of the internet, for the first time in Human history, it is possible that the common man can have easy access to all the resources that are necessary to find out about any subject that can be comprehended. Not only that, for if he finds that there is a gap in this pool of learning then he is given full facility to publish his own work, so that others may benefit by his experience. If it is possible for me to put up a Web site, then just about anyone can. I dont have a vast fund of money like Bill Gates, or the resources of an international corporation, but I'm up here with the best of them because I have a presence on the Web.
I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto him.

This site is not a money making exercise, so put that credit card away, I'm not trying to sell you anything. This site is just an attempt to find out what knowledge can be gained from the internet. Not from just the world wide web, but from all of the internet resources, including Usenet newsgroups, FTP downloads, Tel-net and E-mail. I'm leaving out on-line chat, because to use it, you need to be on-line of course, and for long periods of time. I think that BT makes enough pro�it per second already, without my help.
People say that the internet is a waste of time, that it is not real because it is called cyberspace, or virtual reality. Well I dont agree. These people have just had bad experiences (or none at all) of the net because they could not find what ever it was that they were looking for. This site will make an effort to remedy that by helping make information easier to find. The internet is far more real than sitting around watching T.V. because all the people that you may meet while using the net are more real than any soap-star. I'm a real bloke that does a real job, go on E-mail me now and find out just how real I am. You couldn't do that with Ian Beal, could you? ( Even if you would want to ).
